Durian- King of Calories!

Yes, it's that time again...Durian Season is back!! For durian lovers, here is some facts that you need to know. I have no intention to stop you from eating it but to remind you the risk that you are taking if you eat it too much.
Ok... 1 piece (ulas) of durian, you'll get:

EXERCISE REQUIRED

To burn the calories in this food you can do any of the following exercise.

  • 98 mins of Walking
  • 41 mins of Jogging
  • 29 mins of Swimming
  • 54 mins of Cycling
So, let say u 'accidentally' eat 2 pieces (ulas).... then just multiply it by 2 for how long that you need to exercise to burn off the calories! So, if you eat 1 fruit, does it means that you need to do an IronMan to burn the calories off??......well, you do the math ok?

Are you serious? That's not good. I love durian so much it's unbelievable and I eat ALOT of it. I mean, 1/2 in the am and the other half in the pm. Once I ate a whole durian at one sitting...I got so tired and had to go lie down for a few hours. Felt magnificent, though...sultry, dreamy.
I had no idea they were that full of calories! I'm really skinny, but sometimes if I'm eating a tremendous amount of it I'll definitely notice that I'm packing on the pounds! I was like, "What's this? Durian is fruit. How can that make you fat?"
Oh, so sad!

Um...have you done your research properly?
Maybe you should read this

A medium size durian is 600 calories, so how can 1 piece be 300+? o.O

You may not know that it is primarily cooked food that sends us out balance and makes us fat. I lost 60lbs eating (as much as I wanted) raw foods only. This was healthy weight loss, gradually over a couple of years until I got to an ideal weight, without stretchy skin etc.

With raw foods, the body recognizes them and balances itself naturally. Our body will tell us: I want this food or that one, but will soon get tired of the one whose nutrient it doesn't need anymore. It is self regulating. This however, doesn't work with cooked food, as they trick the body and can be addictive. Enjoy your durians!!
